Lake Hartwell Marketing is a one-person marketing business in Hartwell, Georgia, run by Matt Fairfield ("I", "me"). This page explains what information I collect, why, and what I do with it.

Information you send me

When you use the contact form, call, text or email, I receive what you give me: usually your name, business name, phone number or email address, and your message. I use it only to reply to you and to do the work you ask for. I don't sell it, rent it or share it with other marketers.

Contact form messages are delivered to my email through Cloudflare, which hosts this site. They are kept in my email and deleted when no longer needed.

Information collected automatically

This site doesn't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Cloudflare, the host, keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the site. If I add website analytics later, I'll list it here.

Client accounts and Google data

For clients who hire me, I may connect to accounts they own, such as Google Ads, Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Facebook or Instagram Pages, only with the client's permission and only to manage and report on their marketing.

My Google Ads reporting tool uses Google sign-in (OAuth) to read campaign and performance data for accounts I manage. That data is used only to produce reports and recommendations for that client, is not shared with anyone else, is not used for advertising, and is not used to train AI models. My use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. A client can remove my access at any time from their Google account, and I delete stored report data on request.

How long I keep information

I keep information only as long as I need it to reply to you, do the work, or meet tax and business record requirements.
